Mr. Buckley's confessional is touching- and pertinent to say the least. Coming from India, I know what damage tobacco has been inflicting on third world denizens. You also have alternate- no way less lethal- forms of tobacco available here. And without the wealth and education available to the first world citizens- education to understand the consequences of their addiction, wealth to have access to medical solutions in case of complications- the rate of quitting is extremely low.
