First of all, it was Gore who wanted recounts, and only of 3 southern Florida counties that are heavily Democrat strongholds. If there are new primaries in FL and MI, what about candidates who have dropped out? Given Edwards' populist appeal, he might have won Michigan (with all of its unemployed workers) or at least come in a close second. That could have changed the entire dynamic of the primaries altogether. If there are re-votes, I think Edwards ought to sue!
Let's face it, Hillary is only concerned because she's behind in the total delegate count. If she were ahead (as expected of the 'inevitable nominee') she could care less about delegates in those two states. Plus, I hear her campaign wants mail-in ballots only. That certainly throws the door wide open for fraud. It's obvious she wil scratch and claw her way to the nomination no matter what. THAT is what is so scary about her campaing.
