I found your article on Alabama's attempt to find a new coach to be very enjoyable and certainly true. I'm a Georgia fan and there is a joke we have in the south. What do maggots and Alabama fans have in common? They both can live off a dead bear for 30 years. But you were wrong where near the end of your column you said, "The school expects national titles, but it has a long way to go just to be competitive in the SEC East, which it hasn't won since 1999." It would be very tough for Alabama to win the SEC East. In fact, they never will...because they play in the SEC West.
