Female Medic Earns Silver Star in Afghanistan

Once again an American Soldier of the female gender has shown her mettle and gives feminist another reason to cheer. Heroics are not necessarily a manly man Rambo thing, but spread the width and breath of the United States military, regardless of race, gender or all the other things that the civilian community used to classify and discriminate people with.

The hoary advocates that moan about "woman in combat" look only towards the military but fail to see female law enforcement officers who in many instances see more time under direct fire than their military cousins.

Me? I'm no liberal by any streach of the imagination, what I am is a realistic looking 24 year veteran of the U.S. Army who has served two tours in combat and had the pleasure of serving shoulder to shoulder with some of the very best females in the United States that had more guts than the little boys who wimped out and failed to answer ther country's call to service.
