Searching For Joseph Conrad

What is wrong with pedantry. Learn the facts about his life. Read his books. With your own experiences and your own wisdom use the knowledge of his factual life and the art of his novels to understand something of human nature and the times in which Conrad lived. Throw theory in to a lagoon. The fact that Conrad was a man of action who then sat down to write is one reason he is so great.
