If you want to see how undemocratic caucuses truly are, all you have to do is look at the Texas caucuses. Even though Hillary got 51% of the primary vote (nearly 1.5 million voters), she may lose the caucuses where only a small minority of the Texas Dem voters will be counted. Probably only about 100,000 Texas voters will be counted in the caucuses, less than 10%.

So there it is in a nutshell, only those who can afford to hang out for two or three hours vote in caucuses. Consider that when you weigh Obama's caucus wins equally to Clinton's primary victories.
