Eight U.S. Marines Charged In Slayings of 24 Iraqi Civilians

First off I would like to state, that do not approve of the actions that were taken (or may have been taken) and I certainly believe those responsible should be punished if found guilty. But I would like to remind all the readers that it is easy to judge from the safely of our own homes. Many of those in Iraq or Afghanistan are under incredible stress, and seeing a comrade get killed can easily push anyone over the edge. I my self say my best friend blown up right before my eyes, and I can not even begin to describe the rage I felt. I do not think we should judge harshly those who made mistakes, no doubt serious ones. But non the less, anyone of us in their shoes are perfectly capable making the same mistake, and anyone who things other wise doesn't not what its like to be in a combat zone. Until their guild have been proven beyond a reasonable doubt, we should continue not to pass ill judgment upon these marines, whom on any other day, would put there lives on the line to ensure the safety of those around them, and those back home.
