It is hopeless and futile to invest political energy towards a Middle East peace. On the Israeli side you have an incompetent leader who enjoys single-digit popularity ratings. Opposite him sits an equally distrusted (by his people) leader with even lower approval ratings. Egging them on is a lame-duck American president willing to ignore the obvious. The Arabs are still teaching their children to hate everything Western. The killing of Christians and Jews is celebrated in the streets. The so-called "peace" process has led to more bloodshed on both sides and should be abandoned for good.
