Spitzer Without Tears

Submitted by David Teitelbaum, Mar 11, 2008 12:24

In April of last year the Tri-State Area was treated to a rare but well placed situation of hypocrisy, where the law finally bit the law maker and enforcer in the ass. Mr. Corzine, the guv'nor of New Jersey, a former senator, decided that it was fine to be a passenger in a car but not wear a seatbelt and he found it equally and perfectly fine that his driver was exceeding the speed limit by 30-40 mph, while texting on his handy little correspondence device.

Well, that ended in a near death for the defender of the law. At the time it was called "a tragedy."

Now we have the other story, not a year later, where a bit of prudence and moral expectation should have been an obvious choice of direction, the next door guv'nor, the defender of the law (and with a brutal record at that) doesn't feel he's obligated by the same laws.

Since the accident of Corzine—which he'll feel for the rest of his life, but will never learn his lesson from; he is after all the governor, above the law—I've often wondered what it would be like to get caught on the Palisades Parkway or the NJ Turnpike without wearing a seatbelt, be given a summons and throwing it back at the officer with he claim that if the executor of the law in the state doesn't have to follow the law, neither do I.

But I don't have a death wish. I don't want to die, not having worn the seatbelt, nor do I wish to die by the hands of the vicious NJ State Police scoundrels.

But now I feel like a bit of fun. I might as well call out for a nice brunette because so does the executor of the law of the state. If he's allowed, then why not I?

And I'd be the first to defend the hooker—and of course myself—loudly and vehemently because if the governor has a right to do what he wants, so do his unfortunate citizens.

These Democrat politicians are of course way above the law that they constantly write and impose. They impose huge taxes upon us, yet they shirk them; they give us all kinds of restrictions on commerce and capitalism, but when it's their business they do the absolute illegal and cover in all up; and a simple safety law of wearing a seatbelt and not racing the highways, which has been legitimately placed upon civilization cannot be adhered to, because "I'm the governor!"

The prostitution of Spitzer began long ago. He bought the once great state of NY with false words of change and reform—an order he screwed up tens of times in this short window of time since his inauguration—only so that he can sate his ego's libido. The wretched Lefties of the state could not help themselves at the prospect that with Pataki leaving finally, they can install the greatest stooge of the far Left part of the Democrat Party in the state, and to hell with the future of the state and its character. Now we collectively wonder, "how bad could John Faso have been?"

Politically, Spitzer has shown he's a hack. The anecdotes, episodes and news-items are so numerous that the almost exceed the wrinkles on Joe Bruno's face. All that he did thus far was also illegal; and the things which were not illegal were just so ugly and cowardly, that the thought that this is our man in the state just disgusts the rational person.

But now the ever righteous, perfect, heroic, immaculate man that is governor Spitzer has been caught with his pants down. Literally.
