The controversy about Florida and Michigan re-voting must take into account that the Republican Governor and Legislature in Florida forced the Democrats to move their voting date to Jan 29 or end up with no votes at all. If the Democrats had not changed the voting date to Jan 29, no Democrat in the state could vote for anybody. Now, John Dean is asking for some kind of compromise that gives Florida voters at least a partial voice in the August Convention in Denver. We all know that COMPORMISE is the heart of politics. If Democrats refuse to compormise with Democrats, who will be the loser? Democrats will shoot themselves in the foot. Not a good move. I suggest all Democrats line up behind the compromise that allows a Florida re-vote---very soon.
