Yankee Fans Nervously Anticipate Life Without Torre

Submitted by Warren Hughes Ret, Mar 11, 2008 17:11

Relax, Yankee fans, surely you recall the long line of Yankee greats who bore the name Joe, down through the years? Need I even mention the name of who was possibly the greatest centerfielder of all time or Joe McCarthy who piloted the Bombers during the late thirties, or Joe Gordon, Joe Pepitone, Joe Page, and several more like the recently departed skipper, Joe Torre, who can be brought to mind by the readers of my post? So, in short, Yankee faithful, have little fear, as to Joe Girardi taking over the helm....as I'm confident, just like all the other Joe's down through the years of Yankee dominance, he too, will fill the Bill....er, I mean, Joe!
