Achilles' Heel

Reading the words of those two men again sent a shiver through me. Whatever happened to those two guys anyway? Can you imagine if it had been Christians doing such a thing to someone? And yet this story came and went with a whimper, while the stories of sexual abuse by Catholic priests STILL gets headline news. (And lumps all Christians in general along with it.)

This? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. No protests, no outrage, no headline stories for weeks and months and years.

Every time I think I've become used to it, I am reminded of things like this and it just hits me all over again.
