A Debate McCain Should Want

This is unbelievable. The tone of the article is so self-righteous, so holier-than-thou it seethes with imperialistic as well as intellectual arrogance. Nuclear weapons will destroy the earth and everyone on it. That is the bottom line. Bombs do not care who owns them. The fact is that the first one to use them will in a world where normal state actors are no longer the sole owner of Oppenheimer's children, the very fact of their existence threatens humankind's existence. Kissinger and Shultz, both practitioners of realpolitik, are serious and thoughtful people. We ignore their advice at our own, and mankind's, peril.
