The Cat Who Loved Subtitles

Poor Max. I didn't know her, but reading your article that the only catfilms she got to see were Brakhage socalled catfilms, I feel for her. She must have been alarmingly disturbed. Imagine a cat sitting for hours watching a blowup of her fur.....licking and looking are two wildly different conceptions.

INTERCAT '69 (THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL CATFILM FESTIVAL) is a 15-hour collection of catfilms.
I understand Anthology is showing excerpts. I recommend to catloves and cats alike - THE PRIVATE LIFE OF A CAT by Maya Deren (30min) CATFILM FOR URSULA (3min) by Stan Lawder FLUFFY THE KITTEN (11 min) and my own catfilm HOW TO DRAW A CAT (3 min).

INTERCAT has presented the International Cafilm Festival in
NYC, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Sydney and the Bicentennial Catfilm Festival in Cambridge MA.
Our next Intercat is planned for Mumbai, India
