City Council Approves Solow Development Project

Submitted by Scott Baker, Mar 13, 2008 13:26

This is a very slight piece on what has been a contentious issue for 5 years. The fact is, Solow already agreed to all these things in its last proposal last Fall. Have they made MORE concessions, or are those the ones the Sun is referring to? In any case, I was nearly onboard already except that at 69 stories, the tallest building was still too high. Has this changed? I am not opposed to the superblock project as the best way to keep cars off our streets is to eliminate the streets they have to drive upon.
