Whether you tax the estate or the heirs, you are still taxing the dead because they wanted the heirs to have the money. How on earth does the government justify taxing this money in any way. If this is a worthy law than you should have to pay taxes on every gift you ever recieve after the gift-giver has already been taxed. It is disgusting. It is especially ridiculous that the government has been getting away with this for so long that no one even brings up the real issue which is the fact that thay have no right to any of the money. The money has already been taxed. End of story!
