Spitzer Plan To Hold $2 Fare Would Hike Costs for Most

Submitted by Krissy Mark, Mar 14, 2008 09:09

I heard on the CW11 News on March 12, 2008 that the discount MetroCard has extended to June 24, 2008 at $76.00 in lieu of $81.00. Is this true??

This morning when I purchase my monthly card, the ticket booth lady say she has no idea and I need to pay the $81.00 if I wanted the monthly card.

Can someone that knows what's going on to PLEASE reply?? Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Krissy Mark
