The DNC officials screwed up and held the primaries TOO early.....the VOTERS of those states are being PENALIZED for it!! The people of Michigan and Florida are NOT asking for an ADVANTAGE, they are asking for their CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO VOTE and to have a say in who becomes our next President!! It is NOT fair to ask Super-Delegates to make the choice "based soley on who has the most delegates" right now, when that count is NOT accurate!! First you have TWO LARGE states population that are not being counted! Second you have the ridiculous way the delegates are tallied anyway, because Hillary won numerous states BY VOTE COUNT, but the way the delegates are distributed, Obama got the same or MORE delegates, even though he had LESS votes!!! This is NOT RIGHT!!! If we really issued the delegates by actual VOTES, HILLARY would LEAD Obama by a MILE!!
My choice has NOTHING to do with race or gender! I would LOVE if we had an African-American Candidate that COULD be a good President! Obama just ISN'T that person!! He is NOT ready yet! Maybe at some point in the future he COULD be, but that isn't even guaranteed! I just know that I am a DIE-Hard Democrat, and I know MANY, MANY other strong Democrats who feel the same way, and we all say, if Obama gets the Nomination, then we will be stuck with a REPUBLICAN President again for at least 4 more years!! Because WE WILL NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA!!! We will either NOT vote or we will vote McCain! The Super-Delegates need to think about that!! If they truly want a GREAT Democratic President, then Clinton is the ONLY CHOICE!!!!! CLINTON WOULD MAKE AN AMAZING PRESIDENT, AND WILL TURN THIS COUNTRY AROUND!! Nobody could convince me that Obama could be one-tenth as good!!
And one more thing!! Go Geraldine Ferraro!! What she said was NOT RACIST!! It is FACT! And I agree 100%!!! More black voters have voted this year than EVER BEFORE!! They would NOT have done so if Obama were NOT BLACK!! That is NOT RACIST!! IT IS A SIMPLE FACT! And even though I don't agree with or endorse Obama in any way, I am proud that he got so many voters out there, I just wish the main reason weren't because he is black!! Because if he were white, he would not have reached those black voters who normally would not vote and that is a SHAME!! But it is a fact, and NOT RACIST in any way!! I am sure that there are also slightly more women voting this year because of Clinton, and that is also a shame!! EVERYONE SHOULD ALWAYS VOTE!!! The problem in this country is usually most people don't like ANY candidate enough to really care, and they don't think their vote is actually worth anything, that it will make any difference! We need to change that thought process and this type of thing wouldn't happen in the future!! That way if EVERYONE ALWAYS voted, it would never matter if the candidate were black, white or PURPLE. Male, female, or EVEN TRANSGENDER!!
But the facts are: Florida and Michigan VOTERS are being DENIED their right to help decide the next Democratic President!! They deserve to be COUNTED!!! The DESERVE a RE-VOTE to be COUNTED!!! The fact is, Obama doesn't want them counted because he KNOWS HILLARY will gain more delegates, and also people need to realize that many, many people could NOT vote in their local primary or caucus due to work/personal issues, so not everyone has gotten counted! Plus with MANY areas, even though Clinton got MORE votes, she got LESS delegates!! That is wrong!! The superdelegates need to remember this and after Fl and Mi they will HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO LISTEN and realize that the MAJORITY of AMERICA will vote Hillary Clinton in November!! If the race is Obama/McCain, then McCain WILL WIN. If it is Clinton/McCain, then CLINTON WILL WIN!!! The Majority of Democrats want CLINTON!!
Look at our LAST election....it all came down to Ohio...and OHIO WANTS CLINTON!! So if it came down to Ohio again, and it was McCain VS Obama, McCain would win .....Republicans AGAIN!! UGH! If Clinton were in the running, she would TAKE OHIO AND THE WHITE HOUSE!!!! CLINTON WILL WIN IN NOVEMBER! Obama will NOT! We CAN have a democratic President, and a truly FANTASTIC ONE AT THAT, AS LONG AS WE MAKE IT HILLARY CLINTON!! Or we can have another four years of HELL with McCain!! Maybe even 8...if Bush could do it, then so can McCain! We need to STOP this Republican run NOW! We need a STRONG, EXPERIENCED DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENT who will get me my MUCH need medical coverage, real coverage, not crappy Medicaid like Obama wants to give me! He JUST ISN'T READY!! His promises of CHANGE are vague and dream-like, but have NO SUBSTANCE!! PEOPLE ARE REALIZING THIS AND IF HE BECOMES THE NOMINEE, HE WILL LOSE TO MCCAIN!! There are entirely TOO MANY Democrats that DON'T FEEL SAFE WITH HIM AND WILL NOT VOTE FOR HIM!!!!
It is either CLINTON or MCCAIN!! Let's NOT make another HORRIBLE 4 YEAR MISTAKE AGAIN!!! WE NEED HILLARY CLINTON!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE AMERICA, let's not make ANOTHER MISTAKE!!! VOTE CLINTON!! I wouldn't WANT to LIVE in a country with Obama as the President! Seriously! I think he would be a MAJOR MISTAKE......WORSE THAN BUSH!! And Bush was a DISASTER!!! Obama would be a CATASTROPHE!!!
