Are America's Banks Being Nationalized by the Fed?

Submitted by Jeff, Mar 14, 2008 17:48

The Fed is making the Japanese look smart. The Japanese banks wouldn't write off bad loans and the Japanese gov't ran their interest rates to zero. In the U.S. the Fed won't let the banks write off the bad paper and won't let the stupidest of the bunch (banks etc) go under....it may be a LONG time before things get better....ask the Japanese.
