Bribery Trial of Brooklyn Assemblywoman Begins

Aha! I cannot help but observe that the brown envelope brigade exists in America, too. Poor Diane! Let us remember that she is actually innocent until proven guilty, although considering the comments already made by those who would never, ever dream of accepting a brown envelope (would they?) I am inclined to feel that this could well be a typical case of Red Queen justice. You know the one: sentence before trial!

Oh, come on! I am sick to death of reading the pathetic mundane bleatings of hypocrisy. If one perfect person exists in the world of politics, I think we should be told! It is of the utmost importance to remember, thus far, that Diane has simply been "accused": looking at the comments of others, it would appear that they have already found her guilty. So that's all right, then. The so-called legal experts in this case apparently already have their sacrificial lamb, and will no doubt rejoice accordingly!

Will these experts never learn that the truth hurts? Of course, they really don't have to, do they? For they are all as pure as the driven snow, aren't they?
