Row Heats Up Over Role of Race in Campaign
in response to reader comment: Obama 2007 CarlStokes 1967

Submitted by Patrizia von Lutzow-Vorbeck, Mar 16, 2008 17:56

I have read with interest the comments regarding this article. My question: What kind of

change? If you vote for Obama or Clinton there will be no change. Change will

come, REAL change will come, when Americans stop allowing the Plantation Masters

(in Washington,DC) to continue to run our country. Since 1865, this government replaced

white (and some black) plantation owers as the "new master", providing places to live

(housing projects), food (food stamps) and medical assistance (heath clinics) and finances

(welfare checks) . Allowing a social culture that benefits those in Washington, to gain votes and

power , while destroying African-American families. Promoting degrading and socially destructive

cultures in the guise of "freedom" while rewarding black mothers to have more children to gain

monetary means and pushing the father into the shadows. It is not unlike the plantation master who

benefited from more slaves. The rejection of "acting white" by blacks trying to control their own society,

was and is a failure to assimilate, exactly what Washington,DC power wants. Divide and conquer.

For a white to tell you this, is racism. For a black to tell you this, is buying into being "Uncle Tom".

And to continue this year after year, a promise of CHANGE!!!!!???? When will all of you wake up? For

whites to continue the subjugation of the African-Americans by way of Washington, DC is unacceptable.

For African-Americans to continue supporting the status quo (and Obama is no different , listen to his

speaches) is slow death of a great family oriented and proud independent CONSERVATIVE African

culture. Those who fought to be free in the 1700's and 1800's would cry over what has happend to black

culture by the New Masters and liberal spinners of the truth. Do you really think that equality is right around

the corner? Same lies, different speaker. When a black (or white) politician tells everyone to stop voting

for the "master" and seek independent, non-Washington, DC interferance, and stop socially destructive

behavior of the African-American community, they'll get my vote. Don't let the "crumbs" they give you fool

you. When blacks become economicaly independent, then they will have REAL independence. Until then,

Washington,DC will hand out, and pull away, the "crumbs" for your vote. The government will NEVER let

you be free. Not in their interest. Never was. Not in 1865. And not now.
