I couldn't agree with you more Paul.

I also would recommend a uniform trust of licensing throughout the states. It is ridiculous that you cannot bring your pistol from New York State into PA - for example, but you can on the states on the other side. This means that you need to disarm for traveling - or risk getting yourself in some real hot water.

I have seen it compared to driver's licensing. It is reasonable to be able to drive here, and Vermont or PA with one New York Driver's license. Cars kill a LOT more people every year than Guns do.AC

I understand that over the years, lawmakers thought something needed to be done. Something was done. It was done wrong.

It's time to apply some sensibility to it all.
