I have been doing SO much research on this, calling and emailing everyone immaginable and havent gotten any straight answers on exactly what and when this is going to happen. I am a white woman who has children with a man from Vietnam, he came here as a refugee, it's not like he just snuck accross the border! He has several friends who are also at risk of being deported who came here when they were very young and they have no connections in Vietnam, some dont even speak their native Viet language and they will be considered as traders for leaving their country in the 1st place. I dont understand why on earth these people should be deported after living here for so many years and even have been permitted to have work permits. I am a nervous wreck right now and the uncertainty has been stressful for the whole family, they chidren can even sense that something is wrong.
