Cranach's Sybille Set To Go on the Block

Why the mention of Desperate Housewives and MySpace?

Obviously, Cranach's portraits have nothing to with modern technology. Computers and TV, satellites and digital imagery would arrive centuries later. Moreover, Cranach would have been paid for a portrait a relative sum far beyond the cost of a computer or a television set.
