The websites you submitted are complete propaganda. They cherry pick facts at the exclusion of others, no doubt you're a fan of the movie "The Great Global Warming Swindle" which featured the only six scientists in the world who disagree that global warming is a threat. Did you know that the producer and director of that movie belong to organizations that are run by oil CEOs?

To say that Al Gore made his movie to get rich is ridiculous, just like saying climate change researchers publish their results in order to get rich. What is more likely in a capitalist world: that scientists who struggle to find pristine sources of funding for their research invent a concept in order to make money, or oil companies, who represent the highest power and thus authority in a capitalist system and whose power is completely threatened by this valid research, are exerting their extreme influence to bias the research?

Stop letting other people do the science for you and would never be fooled by this propaganda. Like I said, it doesn't take a brilliant scientist to understand this. Dr. Richard Lindzen, the MIT professor who stars in the global warming swindle movie (and who gets paid by oil companies) wasn't even able to defend his position against what I originally posted. We had a conversation over email, and he ended up calling my argument "silly" without ever addressing it-- not the kind of behavior one would expect from an expert at a world class university.

1. CO2 causes Global Warming (Co2 rises, temp rises, Co2 falls, temp falls)

2. CO2 levels are rising 500 times faster than they ever have in the history of the planet. This is based on very accurate ice core data and modern measurements of the atmosphere. There is no debating this hard fact and it is well established.

*EXPLAIN TO ME HOW WE ARE SAFE GIVEN THESE TWO FACTS AND I WILL GLADLY ENTERTAIN ANY OTHER NOTION YOU PRESENT*

But you can't, even MIT's Dr Lindzen couldn't.

I'm sorry, but the danger we are in is real and you buying into the conspiracy theories and propaganda is only costing our planet precious time and, ultimately, thousands if not millions of real lives. Ask anyone in subsaharan Africa if global warming is real, and they'll tell you that they have no water. Ask the government of the Maldives if global warming is real, and they'll tell you that they're creating bulkheads on their beaches to prevent the island from going under water. Ask INSURANCE COMPANIES, who have NO political bias, and they'll tell that they're not insuring coastline areas any more because their INDEPENDENT RESEARCH is telling them that the coastlines could go under at any moment.

We don't have time to debate a non-issue. Creationists can create a debate on evolution where there is near 100% scientific consensus, but at least their debate is only affecting what's taught in schools and nobody is mortally threatened. But to make a debate about the biggest crisis humanity has ever faced is grossly immoral.

The human psyche is not well equipped to address a threat like this. Skepticism is a refuge for those unable to accept life threatening news in the midst of a seemingly still normal world. But indulging in that refuge is negligent, and in less than 10 years this conversation is going to seem ridiculous. In less than 10 years the conversation is going to be, "why didn't we do everything in our power to stop this?"

The longer we wait the worse it gets. This isn't just my view, it's an indisputable reality. Again, address those two facts above, NO SKEPTIC CAN, and otherwise it's just more wasted time we can't afford to waste.
