Paterson Discusses Sex Life 'To Get Straight With New York'

In his acceptance speech the new Gov alluded to the fact that (paraphrasing) an elected individual cannot be held with any less of a standard pertaining to acting morally and ethically responsible than the people they represent.

Granted the Governor came "clean" and his wife did also, but if he cannot keep his morals and values in check in something as sacred as his marriage, then how can he be trusted to be morally responsible to the people that he represents?

If Spitzer came clean would he have been forgiven? Sex outside of the marriage, whether it is a "freeby" or not, is till considered wrong!
