A Bravo-Worthy Season

Regarding AG's "par".....To me, its doubtful if AG could make the cut in any league of professional
musicians at this point. Nothing less then a great Mimi seems necessary,
and should be expected, given her long and much-needed rest. Her capriciousness
(a euphemism for worse traits) is always likely to get the best of her IMHO,
which I've had informed byu watchers of several decades. (I adored her - there is no other
word - for a few years, until I found out the truth: her offstage persona is very much in synch
with the majority of her observers/critics/ex-lovers/musicologists...) She has always had a beautiful voice
and exterior, but those alone do not make her a major-league musician.
