Residential High-Rise May Rise at WTC Site

Submitted by Tal Barzilai, Mar 20, 2008 17:10

As usual, nobody seems to want to work in the buildings within the official plans. Let's not forget that New York State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver did say that as long as there are no tenants as well as the money for it, it could just be another false start like the one in 2004. Destche Bank has recived numerous violations on demolition, and the LMDC refused to acknowledge most of them only leading to more injuries there within the last year. Even though the Twin Towers Alliance petition has the signature 22 business supports and 23 WTC tenants that would return, it is a lot more than those who would work in the official plans.
