Regardless how the SCOTUS rules, beware the candidate who voted to confiscate a law-abiding citizen's guns in a "national emergency" - H. Clinton. She voted to allow law enforcement to take them away AS THEY DID in New Orleans after Katrina. McCain and Obama voted to protect private gunowners' from these mass weapons hunts.
Here's the text of Vitter Amdendment No. 4615, which was voted on in the U.S. Senate at 6:13 PM on July 13, 2006:
"To prohibit the confiscation of a firearm during an emergency or major disaster if the possession of such firearm is not prohibited under Federal or State law. "
Clinton thought this was a bad idea.
