As far as disgrunted parents versus instructors and PhD's who "developed" the program, might I add that you may want to expand your horizons a bit and take a good look at "who" actually developed the program? My research has found that Everyday Math was developed by the education department at the Univ. of Chicago, NOT the math department. I have also read that many math professors @ the university have publically distanced themselves from the program because they believe it is so inferior. So, instead of putting down parents, why don't you just do us all a favor and ride off into the sunset with others who have sold out like yourself. I noticed you didn't refute the previous poster's assertion that you have ties to the publisher of these textbooks.
