This Editorial takes the cake for sheer chutzpah! The cause of the dollar's collapse is the rise in the National Debt from $5 trillion when Bush took office to $9 trillion and rising rapidly. This explosion of debt was directly related to Republican tax cuts for the wealthy along with huge borrowing to pay for Bush's unnecessary war in Iraq. And what does John McCain propose? An indefinite blank check for Iraq and making Bush's tax cuts permanent. Conservative Republican=Borrow and Spend on War without End.
