The UN secretary General should not be seen to be 'too close' to the American administration as he is a world leader who is even expected to intervene in various issues and conflicts around the world.For instance, would Iran listen to him if he dicides to intervene in the looming conflict between America and Iran?They would not because they see him as an American sympathiser.

He should remain neutral and face matters without fear or favour. He should be an impartial leader.
