The Specter That Haunts the Death of Litvinenko
in response to reader comment: Detecting Polonium

Submitted by Brian K. Doan, Mar 22, 2008 23:43

While I do not have the expertise in nuclear physics that Mr. Drasko Jovanovic possesses, I wholeheartedly concur with his statement: " I find that the English "evidence" is so contrived and motivated by propaganda that it has no merit."

My concurrence is based on knowledge of witnesses whose testimony was submitted into evidence in spite of their testimony having proved beyond reasonable doubt by lead investigators assigned to the Litvinenko case to have been fabricated. One investigator, a man with an exemplary career of long standing with MI6 who pressed for the removal of a key witness who had submitted false and misleading testimony in support of Boris Berezovsky's testimony was removed from the case and reassigned to night duty in the slum of London.

Beyond the forensic evidence on the polonium 210 trail, there was evidence amassed against Lugovoy that was without question contrived and motivated by propaganda. Here too, without a shred of evidence beyond a contrived and politically motivated media campaign launched by Russia's Most Wanted self-exiled oligarchs, members of their entourage of former KGB FSB agents and Russian dissidents, the media embraced their every word to discredit the leadership of Russia.

My sincere thanks to Mr. Jovanovic for his contribution on his knowledge of polonium 210.
