Submitted by Lucian Dorus, Mar 23, 2008 22:22

The torment in the Middle East, including the Holy Land, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and the rest of the Muslim nations is going to calm down and start to advance on the path of real progress only after the long-overdue reformation of Islam, including the complete separation between religion and state administration (as a parallel to the Christian Reformation and the First and Second Vatican Councils), the emancipation of women, and the development of an incipient middle class.
