just a precision: the boarder was closed by the algerian government in 1994 in reaction to the unilateral decision of the morrocan authorties when they decided to impose visa restrictions on algerian citizen on the pretext that terrorist strikes in marrakech were masterminded by algerian intelligence. on that time the french minister of interior, Charles Pasqua said on french Tv that the french government had total evidence that the network behind the strikes were 100% morrocan fellows. i think it's fair that the morrocan government apologize to the algerian people for this political mistake.
