Thank you for your article. My family and I have been discussing the "speech" since Mr. Obama made it. Thought elegantly written and delivered, it was nothing more than an attempt at distraction, blaming the victims (white America) for the victimizer's words. Were any aspect of Mr. Obama's and Rev. Wright's arguments true, Mr, Obama would not be the presumptive Democratic nominee for the presidency. Mr. Obama is shameful in his unbridled cynicism and in his contempt for the intelligence of the American voters. Mr. Olberman, Mr Matthews, Mr. Rich, Ms. Dowd, et al, may have been bamboozled by the pretty words, bur fortunately, many of us, hopefully the majority, were not and Mr. Obama will see the inside of the Oval Office only as an invited guest.
