My question is, so where's the surprise in all this? Did the fools, (ie: the people) think they were getting an honest politician? You can bet that no one in Albany is surprised by Mr. Paterson's conduct, and we haven't heard the half of it yet!
Generally speaking, the voters of NY are known for being gullible and "somewhat less than brilliant" when it comes to picking their public officials. Mr. Paterson is just the latest examply of that lack of brain power...
