Egyptians Question Israel's Claim to Eilat

Submitted by Alan A. Grosser, Dec 29, 2006 09:25

Once again the demands for Israeli terrirory to be ceded away continues. First the west bank settlements, the Gaza strip, the Golan Heights, the farms controversy with Lebanon, area around Jerusalem, Taba and now Eillat. Obviously the demands will never stop. Ask what good has already resulted from previous give-aways. The shelling goes on, suicide bombers still try to infiltrate Israel population centers, the demand for the removal of the fence which has saved so many lives continues, resolutions against Israel repeatedly emanate from the US and the EU, hostility and hatred is taught daily in Arab schools, preached weekly by Imams and published constantly in the Arab media. Isn't it strange that in spite all of this, concessions and appeasement still seems to be the ongoing policy of the curent Israeli government. Where is the leadership to come forward and assert with determination, that Israel will no longer budge an inch from its present position. Most Israeli supporters will rally around such a pronouncement and may improve Israeli's pride in their government.
