Do not close Tilden High. This is one more attempt by an incompetent system,to pass on the blame for its failures, to the source it was supposed to aid. The New York education department has fallen into disgrace. Once the pride of America, New York public schools have become collection sewers.The managers of the sysytem, wasteful, incompetent, and blind to the needs of the school children and the communities in which they live.Hire more consultants, spend millions more and still end up as an adjunct to the New York trash department. SHAME on the leaders of the city, past and present. They have failed, now take the kids down with them.Close Tilden and the others and slink away defeated, it is becoming the American way of life.
