How the West Could Lose

Submitted by Xavier Romero-Frias, Dec 30, 2006 02:55

The present threat is not a conventional military war threat. The 911 attackers were carrying only boxcutters, but I fear that the nature of the threat has been improperly assessed. The responses (Afghanistan, Iraq, ) have been conventional. A new threat requires a new response. I have seen nothing new since 911. I have seen nothing that diminishes my fears. The therat remanis, the enemy is still as strong as ever, growing and smiling at the general foolishness.
