Gasoline May Soon Cost a Sawbuck

It doesn't take great qualifications to predict this. No more did it take any special training to have predict ed current prices a year ago. I certainly did. I have been predicting oil and fuel prices accurately now, a year in advance for years. There is a clear trend over time and there is a definate trend in the world matters which contribute to the rising price. These matters, such as developing countries increasing consumption, the tapering off and then dropping off of supplies and the unstable global situation being caused by US and Israeli aggression are all here to stay with the current crop of world leaders and all the replacements in the wings.

Having said this I shall predict that we will see $200 a barrel oil within one, to two years. In fact it won't surprise me if we see that by years end, assuming the USA makes good on its threats against Iran. In the event this happens and whenever it does, all bets are off. The rising price of oil is charting a rising curve. At what point does a rising curve become exponential?

Conversely, what will it take to see prices lowered again?

* Oil companies profit margins reduced................not likely
* Vast new oil discoveries..................dream on
* The USA and or Israel moderates their aggressive stance and stops threatening and waging wars in the Middle East...............not likely
* Middle Eastern countries currently resisting US hegemony lie down and accept repression and resources...............not likely

The only direction the price of oil can go is upwards. I fully expect even the most radical predictions to seem conservative by the specified dates..
