125th Street Rezoning Plan Passes Council

What a happy day for Harlem! Inez Dickens is admittedly not my favorite, but despite the heat she's taken, she did a great job on behalf of her district. Now, when developers move forward with their projects, we'll see the restaurants, retail and entertainment venues that we have all been waiting for.

The opportunists (e.g. Craig Schley of VOTE People), race-baiters (e.g. Agnes Johnson, community activist) and fear-mongers (e.g. Michael Henry Adams) who opposed the rezoning will truly have to eat their words when Harlem starts to see the benefits that this rezoning will allow. Not that they'll ever admit it.
