Dr. Moyar's book on the Vietnam War is far from a revisionists work based on his reliance on primary sources. The scholarly work, I found was not opinionated, something lacking in much of the works of the left. I served in country during the war and was disappointed in the Kennedy and Johnson Administration's handling of the war. Kennedy was not a hands type of guy in dealing with the happenings during his watch. Johnson lied to the American people in his bid for re-election while Goldwater in 1964 told the truth. I feel like the college campus continue to"spit on Vietnam Veterans" by not hiring such a scholar as Mark Moyar
