We wonder we have a overweight problem in this country. Our kids are unable to get time to go out and play. Nevermind if a kid wants to play sports, there is no time for that either with the amount of homework these teachers give. I had a meeting with my son's principal who stated that if my son is not spending 90 to 120 minutes just on math homework each night, he is not doing his work. Sounds like this is a problem everywhere. My son has a teacher who accepts no late work and another who takes 50% immediately. I am researching ADA rules and regs.
