Great article John, but as a Detroit homer I have to point one thing out; since the Pistons players couldn't see the clock run down, they had no way of determining when to act - in my experience, players keep an eye on that clock, and it would be fair to say that the play would've gotten off a tenth or two earlier if that countdown was in the corner of Rodney Stuckey's eye. The fact that the play got off only a tenth of a second late (easily within the margin of error for a person pressing the start trigger) is pretty amazing in and of itself.
