They will have a lot of money to spend on free agents because of Shawn Marion's, Jason Williams and Ricky Davis's expiring contracts to go along with some smaller ones. With all this cap room they could sign any free agent they wanted to. If Elton Brand decided to opt out of his contract that would be a good pick-up for the Heat. Andres Nocioni, Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, Emeka Okafor, Corey Maggette and Baron Davis could also be available choices, but maybe not as good of a fit for the Heat as Brand. The Heat could have the 1st pick in the draft which could mean them getting Micheal Beasley or Derrick Rose. If they drafted Micheal Beasley and kept the team they have now they would have a good starting lineup with a few good players coming off the bench.
