Who is the first media person who named the running of Obama vs. Clinton a fight? It is a very close campaign. If the Florida and Michigan popular votes are included, Hillary could win the popular vote.
All I see and read about is race and fight? What about a bunch of men--who I see surrounding Obama constantly--making certain a woman never becomes president of my country, the United States of America. Women make up the majority of our population, however, men have always held a huge majority of our wealth, corporate titles, the U.S. Congress, top positions at the United Nations, etc...It is no surprise to me or any other politically astute person why Sen. Obama is raising more money than Sen. Clinton--it is man vs. women. Many want Obama to become the next President, but even more want Sen. McCain--so give to Obama and get rid of Sen. Clinton who undoubtedly would beat McCain in November. Senator Clinton is a brilliant, well-seasoned politician and born leader. She is a woman ahead of her times and a role model for many who are frustrated by this very process. It stinks of behind the scenes male dominance!!! Yet I have never read an article in any respectable newpaper or magazine on such--I do wonder why.
Please stop sensationalizing this democratic process as a war of sorts. It is not through my eyes and through many other registered independents and democrats. For the first time may the best man or woman win the chance to serve as our next President. And please do address the issue of gender and how it has held Senator Clinton back more and more each week. Thank you for this opportunity to comment on your story.
