Lets not forget about groups like Guardian Angels that, since the late 1970's, have been out on the streets trying to get rid of crime. Or maybe the citizen groups that formed (with weapons) after hurricane Katrina to protect their neighborhoods from thieves. These are examples of Americans stepping up to fill in the obvious gaps in police protection, for whatever reason that shortage exists. The problem is that there is such an abundance of Mexicans in this country that most people will not support the Minutemen project because somebody they know might "get upset". If you have a clue about civil obedience you will understand that rules must be enforced. This country is in bad shape right now and people like this "sympathetic hugger" are the exact reason why. And why in Gods name play the race card on this one? Sorry, there isn't a huge Polish or Chinese population in Mexico trying to get here illegally.
