Reluctantly I have come to agree with you that Willie Randolph, a good man, is not the right person to coach the Mets. It appears he has lost the team.

Perhaps the choices for who would be a good mid season replacement for Willie Randolph would be worthy of a column. No solid candidates come to mind. If you write it, please no internal candidates. We need a fresh face in town someone who can lead and will be listened to.
