Wow I didn't think there were very many of us in the military. I only knew of one other Muslim in my battalion and he left. When I read that there was a Colonel in the military that was Muslim I got excited. I love the Army and I never want to get out but there is always that thought in my mind that I may not get to progress in my career if too many individuals know my religious preference. Now I see that there is some hope after all. This article has gave me a lot of motivation, to better my career!
